Specialization: people are starting to focus on specific ideas or specific fields of science: fields of science start to develop. Measurements: people are using standard units. This goes back to order because they are giving order to the universe by units. Nature and reason: trees are good because they make paper and help build things. The enlightenment is challenging an organic view of the world: magic and the occult. You take the clock apart and you understand the maker. Impact on women: women are given less value in the scientific world. At the time, women were associated with magic and these things are not longer important.
