Papers reflection- things that make a good paper. What i now know from doing this paper. Made it clear what the outside readings added to the giddens text. Need to be integrated into my main point. More of a narrative/learning journey than a thesis driven essay. In the essay you have to integrate the notion of dialogue. When we have lots of diverse news sources, we tend to just listen to those that we agree with. Not dialogue because it only fits in your narrative. Reflect on dialogue in the election and how i have engaged in it. Integrate justice as fairness and prudence, most good with most complexity. Slavery: a form of social stratification in which some people are owned by others as their property. Caste: a social system in which one"s social status is held for life, can"t change castes, can only socialize with your caste.
