State lobby efforts that smaller groups can"t do within the state. Used to be all volunteer based and focused on geneseo when founded. Now 17,000 acres across the region with five official staff members looking at. Significant natural areas (ones with endangered or rare combos of species or species alone) Undisturbed natural areas (areas that are intact and maybe not with rare species but still should remain undisturbed, may have cultural value)
