Inside out design : creating interior faces and shelling the part out (rather than in) Core group features: prismatic solid features that add most of the material to the part. Start with critical functional features that define the volume and interact with other parts (or are most likely to be changed) Parent priorities: default datums, user datums, skeleton features, core group features.
