The constitution was adopted in 1792 and the national assembly disbands in favor of an elected legislative assembly it faced many problems but most of all it faced vetting political ideas and lack of french unity. Centrists supported the idea of a limited monarchy. * in 1792, it was learned that louis xvi and his wife were planning to invite prussian and austria to attack france in order to restore them as rulers.
