Nondisjunction in meiosis leads to incorrect chromosome number. Gametes have a single set of chromosomes: meiosis is a process that converts diploid nuclei to haploid nuclei, meiosis occurs in in specialized cases: the sex organs, producing gametes sperm and eggs. In humans, primary oocyte suspended in meiosis i until ovulation, only completes. Ex: you are not the mother of your children.
