Inner planets: mercury, venus, earth and mars, small planets, rocky, thin rocky shell, fe-alloy core (center) Outer planets: jupiter, saturn, uranus, neptune, giant planets, jupiter and saturn are gas giants, uranus and neptune are ice giants, less dense than inner planets. Layers of earth: chemical layers, crust, mantle, core, physical layers, lithosphere, asthenosphere. This caused all the dense material to sink to the center making the core.
