Iron and making bronze: make pots that look similar to the greeks, very few examples of etruscan writing, not much literature, mot like other languages, romans got many things from the etruscans. Romans were a hilltop village: surrounded by two powerful neighbors. Romans: 2 hills of rome to know, palatine hill, capitoline hill, capitoline, religious center, main god -> jupiter, palatine, original roman village was here. In between two hills was a marshy swamp place: overtime the romans filled in this area, soon would be called roman forum, main down square.
