Document Summary

The left pump, comprised of the left atrium and left ventricle systemic pump. A wrinkled, pouch-like structure that allows the heart to increase in size auricle. The right pump, consisting of the right atrium and right ventricle pulmonary pump. Coronary sinus: the external boundary between the atria and the ventricles; encircles the entire heart. Anterior interventricular sulcus divides the ventricles on the anterior side. Posterior interventricular sulcus divides the ventricles on the posterior side. Interventricular septum: pulmonary valve, where does it lead? lungs. Blood pressure: pulmonary trunk, where does it lead? lungs, splits in to what two arteries, right pulmonary artery, left pulmonary artery. Atria edliver blood under less pressure into the ventricles (less distance). Ventricles pump blood under higher pressure and over greater distances: which ventricle is thicker? left. Allow blood into arteries but prevents the back flow of blood into the ventricles.
