Physical indicators: don"t have a legitimate physical cause bruises: large, painful bruises -- clusters and different healing stages -- covered by clothing -- difficult walking and sitting -- black eyes -- not as easy to conceal. Broken bones: anything on heat main cause of death is head. Injuries: main concern is children that are not mobile yet: Spiral fractures: violent twisting -- usually an arm -- rare which makes it suspicious. Broken ribs: rare which makes it suspicious -- very hard to break a rib. Multiple fractures: more than one broken/fractured bone without a reason. Burns: cigarette/cigar burns -- usually leaves a scar.
