Spinous process- projects posteriorly from the midline where the right and left laminae fuse. Transverse process- are paired and project laterally from the junction of the pedicle na lamina. Describe the key features of c1, c2, and c7. C1 the atlas- a ring-shaped bone with no body or spinous process.
