Gods takes sides- /hera, poseidon, athens-greeks -because they didn"t get the apple paris"s judgment. Gods intervene in human affairs-they do not die even if wounded- the war is a game to them and fate of indu lacks significance. Gods of iliad are not omnipotent ; can"t control fate/human behav. Trojans lose because they violate this relationship-stealing of helen.
