Police officers now have to warn under affirmative duties. But if you ask for one they have to stop questioning you (custodial interrogation) Not under any obligation to go to police station. Admission - a statement that can incriminate you and/or presents evidence that may be used against you. Miranda warning exceptions - if you say something voluntary to a cop.
