Anomalocaris - predators with big appendages (all they did was eat) Trilobites - only existed during the paleozoic, prey of the anomalocaris. Brachiopods - look like clams, but not even closely related. Crinoids (sea lilies) - related to starfish and sand dollars. Hox genes changed and told the body to grow the gill arches longer than they would normally grow. Dunkleosteus - one of the largest fish ever and one of the first jawed fish. Tiktaalik - this is one of the first fish to come on land. Dimetrodon - not a dinosaur, much more closely related to mammals.
