At the end of creating pivot table, it appears like below. One can select any type of fields that had to be included into this pivot table and pivot chart. One can edit filter options and clicking on option below and can include desired fields to the pivot table. Other options available in pivot table are grouping, filtering options required for pivot table. To insert slicer, create the pivot table. Click on analyse tab and then click insert slicer option as from below. After creating slicer, it will be displayed below. Clicking on appropriate filters in the slicer will display appropriate data in the chart and pivot table. One can also perform calculations for calculated field region and calculated item region , the difference between two is item has different fields in it.
