They have dominant alpha males (hierarchy maintained by aggression), large aggressive male in his prime. Fights are limited because its risky due to injury. Usually through aggression and displays of behaviors. Aggressive male behaviors by displaying canines (threat gestures) Aggressive displays with standing tall and arms up. Piloerection- hair stands up to enhance aggression and look intimidating. Impressive upper arm strength (slap others hard to put them in place) Bite for the face and scrotum to do maximum damage. Afterwards there are grooming, hugging, and kissing. During the day they break down to small groups in order to gather food. Offspring cared for by mother and orphans are adopted.
