The bible has always been an important part to history and those who believe in its sayings. The stories genesis and exodus from the bible serve to describe the origin of the world, the earth, human beings and lastly how the israelis ended up settling down where they did. Particularly fascinating parts of genesis are the description on how god created life and earth. The contradictory actions of god are very perplexing in the genesis. The way that god made the pharaoh of egypt let the israelites go was very surprising and very bloody. The genesis was inspiring to read because the way the bible accounted for all the things on earth was just fascinating. From the creation of light just because god said let there be light"; and there was light (bible, 11) seemed magical. God separated the waters that were under the dome from the water and created heaven.
