(violence) 3) at certain times, places and within certain social circles alcohol is/has been or regarded as both legally or informally nonnormative. 4) although deviance is not defined by harm, many of the most harmful activities are condemned. Two measures of alcohol abuse: those who drink- we are interested in these people and the people who over drink, those who don"t. The higher your ses, the greater your likely hood of you drinking at all: income, occupation, education level.
