When we refer to a calorie , we are really meaning kilocalories , but for dietary reasons, we leave off the kilo because the numbers of calories would be cumbersome to calculate. Makes up to 60-70% of total body weight. Vitamins a, d, e, k are fat soluble. Which vitamins, if taken in large quantities, could be dangerous to health and why? (they all can, but which ones would be worse than the others?) Often have decreased taste, require less calories but still need unchanged levels of minerals and vitamins. Experience disease states which affect taste, appetite and satiety. There are different varieties: ovolactovegetarian, lactovegetarians, zen macrobiotic, fruitarian.
