Interviewee: steve edwards, vp and content producer at wbez. What is the purpose of this interview? a) I am currently a student studying international communications at purdue northwest in. I come from a background of scholastic journalism. I began studying journalism and photography as a freshman in high school and became the editor of the yearbook by my junior year. I am passionate about interviewing and telling stories. I was assigned to conduct research on a career field of interest to me. A couple weeks ago, my high school yearbook advisor and i presented at the national scholastic press association. Convention and came on a tour here at the station. The purpose of this interview is to get a better feel for what careers in the journalism field are really like and to learn things about the field i might not find on the internet.
