Vo: voice over- tells the story: point camera at piece of camera or white board call it. Vo1 take 1: run microphone through the camera and record voice into the camera. Sot (sound bites): sound on tape: interviews, interview right people to help tell the story, different perspectives. Stand-up: puts narrator in the story- usually in the beginning or the end: couple of lines that puts you in the story, where you shoot the stand up is based on the story you are telling. Think about background with location that fits the story, when doing project fire questions at them (past, present, future questions) B-roll: footage, wide, medium and close ups- get at different angles: get a few from each set up. V3 lower thirds: drop in when see people. V1 stand up voice over 1 sot 1 voice over 2 sot 2 sot 1 v over 3.
