I went to the new haven superior courthouse on thursday november 2nd, getting there was a bit hectic because of figuring out the shuttles and navigating to the courthouse on foot. When i got there i spoke to one of clerks and asked her if there was any good cases going on and she happily directed me to courtroom 4a. Luckily, i got there before they broke for lunch because i was able to catch the tail end of the cross examination for a murder trial. When i sat down in the courtroom, the defendant"s attorney was questioning one of the prosecutor"s witnesses about what the defendants were wearing, when they robbed the convenience store. The witness for the prosecution was very unreliable because he kept contradicting himself during his testimony, which was able to help the defense"s case. Dwayne sayles, i was able to look up the charges being brought against him on the judicial.
