David grew up in a greek family outside of raleigh north carolina. He currently lives abroad with his life partner, hugh. He has kept a journal since 1977. He is the second child of six. He did not get along with his father. David sedaris is famous for his satirical, humorous writing in which he addresses political correctness, cultural euphemisms and the human condition today. Holiday on ice are two of his well known publications but her also writes personal essays. His personal essays are endless but two popular ones are naked and me talk pretty one day . Sedaris also collaborated with his sister amy, together they have half a dozen well known plays. After dropping out of kent, he continued his education and eventually received a degree from school of art institute in chicago. In one of his publications he states how he graduated from princeton but he actually never attended the ivy.
