Law reflects the belief of male majority when laws are written. Women are based upon concept of male criteria. Women have been arrested for larceny more than any other type 1 offense. Women are less likely to have been previously convicted. Females are viewed as less of a danger. Likely may have acted as an accomplice. Imposition of death penalty is both racially and gender bias. Women comprise less than three percent of all executions.
