John rawls: theory of justice & political liberalism. If we are trying to create a just society good laws are a part of that: a good legal system is based on good laws. What are the instituions in society: political institutions: applications of the idea of justice, elections, presidency, justice system, federalism, social instutions: system of cooperation"s that should satisfy the system of justice, property, workplace, family. Justice: is clear; citizens have a normally effective sense of justice and they can apply principles: citizens understand them and apply them themselves. If some instutions goes array, lets say something unjust happens they can see its unfair and correct for it: eg. The way governance occurs in wisconsin: after the vote had occurred the republic state legislature got together and passed a series of laws tha limit the powers of the new democratic governor.
