●How does one come to write a play?
● One of the ways is by approaching people who have experience. Always wanting to
know more about the play.
●Something that threw a series of questions he started to see patterns that gave insight into
creative process to make whole play.
●Traditional method to create play is SOLITARY METHOD. Someone goes away and
write and be back with the story.
●Opposite of solitary called group method referred to as ENSEMBLE. Implies give and
take. One of the Ensemble play is most commercially successful play or musical man
named Michael Bennet got tape recorder approached group of artist and talk about actors
hope dreams fear and tragedies. Within second chorus line emerged for tape recordings.
