Managers need to learn how to manage individual differences so they can influence employees to do their best work. Absenteeism may be a precursor to turnover, when employees leave their jobs. You can reduce this by: base hiring decisions, provide post-hiring support onboarding, focus on enhancing employee engagement, offer employee benefits.
