Employment in international government accounts for a lot of anthropologists jobs. Anthropologists oversea provide help without the form of military aid. They participate in water projects and agricultural projects. This is sort of humanitarian aid for those who are struggling in an area without the basic necessities of life. They provide the stepping stones for people to adapt later on to their environment. They setup the change and the people are there to keep that change. Example: anthropologists have gone oversea into areas where they have built wells and other water sources around and through a village in order to provide them with clean and fresh water. This not only helps them survive but also enables them to grow crops with water and eventually become a self sustainable area. Some places also leave their history behind because of technological advancement.
