Differ in risk factors, causes, treatments, etc. About 2,000 women every day in the us are diagnosed with cancer. The mortality of cancer in men is decreasing overtime whereas in women it is staying the same. The incidence of cancer in men is decreasing but increasing in women. Many differences are due to being confounded with ses between white people and. Estimated that we could eliminate half of cancer deaths if everyone changed their behavior. Women who consume a lot of alcohol are at higher risk for cancers too. Some evidence that drinking can increase risk of breast cancer. About 1/3rd of all cancer deaths are thought to be related to obesity; abdominal fat is a strong risk factor for breast cancer, endometrium, ovarian, and cervical cancers. Consuming a lot of animal fat is a risk factor for colorectal cancer; saturated fat is linked to some kids of breast cancer (red meat, whole milk, cheese, etc)
