The founding fathers as self interested counter revolutionaries. Those who wrote the constitution didn"t sign on the doi. In 1776 most americans united for the doi. 25% didn"t and were kicked out after the american rev. United those who were at the top of the 13 colonies (wealthy) Hit hard at the ordinary people like small farmers. Small farmers took out loans and paid them back in hard money gold or silver . Taxes were being places on the small farmers.
