One or more parent dies when child is young: stressful contact with outside sources, school, workplace, neighbors, co-workers. Have to change schools: illness or death (of parent or child, divorce or separation, redefine or renegotiated relationship between remaining parent and children. Oldest child takes on role that one parent left.
