Nature vs. nurture implies a one-dimensional approach to behavior. Your immune system is the last thing to develop, so it is the first thing to sacrifice energy, which it needs to continue working properly. Stress can take up energy and utilize it in other parts of your body, taking it away from your immune system. Biology and neurology are now big parts of modern psychology whereas decades ago, psychology was purely behavioral focused. Biology can influence the expression of behavior, while simultaneously; behavior can influence the expression of biology. Having a certain set of genes can predispose a person to become an olympic athlete or an alcoholic, but those genes won"t reach their full potential, they won"t mean anything if the person doesn"t play a sport or drink.
