Tourism is the backbone of greek economy, greece"s heaviest industry, and the lifejacket in a monetary emergency, etc. However, it has been hurting greece as well. It hurts because it has been changed into an industrialized beast that is overseen by the first class of tourism. Tourism is sapping the heart out of greek culture. Until 1990, greece"s improvement in the tourism segment was the speediest in europe and at an overall level. From 1999 to 2012, the tourism business of greece was growing "gradually" contrasting with the pace of improvement in both the european and international tourism industry.
