Facial-feedback hypothesis: the hypothesis that changes in facial expression can produce corresponding changes in emotion. Hold pencil in mouth while doing task. Their mood was actually more negative when they were frowning. Physiological arousal: sweaty palms, increased heart rate, rapid breathing.
