Paris green was one of the pigments in the wall paper. In hindsight, its tough to know the ill effects of wallpaper. About middle of 1800s, people began to identify wallpaper as a source of arsenic exposure. 1850s, people wrote articles about wallpaper being hazardous. British article lansett - ran campaign to ban arsenic.
