A logical relationship between two proportions in which the first proposition is true and the second is also true. Predict logically what is going to happen next - then you can act accordingly. To imply: to indicate by inference rather than by direct statement. An implication is a logical consequence of a proposition that is not directly stated by the proposition. Read the writing on the wall - need to figure out what is going on that is not being directly stated.
