Document Summary

Homework 1 - implication: an implication is a logical relationship between two propositions in which if the first proposition is true the second proposition is also true (tusing). Implications can be made when you hear statements or identify objects you know of and can assume that what you know of them to be is true. Our personal experiences and knowledge can direct all of our implications. An example would be when we use public restrooms it can be implied which is the men"s and women"s. Our knowledge of what men and women look like and how they use the restroom aid us in our implications of which restroom is designated for each sex. It can be implied that the sign with the figure wearing the dress is for women (since women usually wear dresses) and the sign with the plain figure is for men.
