The oral stage (birth to 18 months) The anal stage (18 months to 3 years)- learning how to go to bathroom. The phallic stage (3 to 6 years)- discovering genitals and learning what not to do, daddy"s girl, mommy"s boy. The latent stage (6 years to puberty)- girls and boys aren"t obsessed with opposite sex parent anymore. When conflict is not resolved, individuals may develop a fixation.
