Can make western feminists think people are victims of their culture. Seeing cultures is hard because of your own views/cultural lens. Deviant behavior shouldn"t define an entire culture. Dowry deaths are visual, but our own issues with fatal dv aren"t necessarily in the forefront. We assume a lot about other cultures. Micro has to be placed within the macro. Global economy builds itself on poor women"s bodies. But they only work because of poor women. We can learn a lot from anti-globalization movements.
