ChaCha Basic
1. Lead steps forward slowly with the left foot and Follow steps back with the right foot
2. Lead right foot lifts slightly up and Follow’s left foot lifts slightly up
3. Both feet return to center
4. Lead’s left foot steps to side, followed by right foot to side, and then left foot to side, in
three quick steps
5. Follow’s right foot steps to side, followed by left foot to side, and then right foot to side,
in three quick steps, at the same time as the Lead does this
6. Lead steps backward slowly with their right foot and Follow steps forward with their left
foot at the same time
7. Lead left foot lifts slightly up and Follow right foot lifts slightly up
8. Both feet return to center
Lock Step
1. Lead steps forward slowly with the left foot and Follow steps back with the right foot
2. Lead right foot lifts slightly up and Follow’s left foot lifts slightly up
3. Both feet return to center
4. Lead’s left foot steps forward, followed by right foot forward, and then left foot to
forward, in three quick steps
5. Follow’s right foot steps forward, followed by left foot forward, and then right foot
forward, in three quick steps, at the same time as the Lead does this
