Requires clinical judgment to rate presence (+2) or absence (+0) or possibly present (+1) Scores range from 0-40 with 30 being the threshold. The higher the number the more psychopathic you are: pcl-r: factor 1. Failure to accept responsibility for own actions: pcl-r: factor 2. Someone who engages in a lot of risk taking behavior, but always needs new sources of stimulation. 2 points if you brag about being a mooch. How the person reacts to different situations. You"re interviewing someone who is incarcerated you ask them what their plan is when they get out. Revocation of conditional release: additional pcl-r items. Gets with one girl she pays for everything then dumps her and repeat. Criminal versatility: antisocial personality disorder (aspd) vs. psychopathy. Aspd is listened formally in the dsm-v but the pcl-r is not. Aspd diagnostic criteria are more behavioral while psychopathy criteria are behavioral and interpersonal/affective.
