The source of intellectual error that descartes identifies would be god. There is intellectual error in descartes because he has the ability to judge the truth which he got from god. (pg 37) once. He argues that dualism exists since they can be separated from each other, at least by god. (pg: he mentions that he is just a thinking thing, different from his body in that his body is separate from him. If the body is hungry than the mind will be consciously tired.
