Bf skinner (1904-1990) proposed consequences of a behavior are critical for learning (operant c. ) operant conditioning - reinforcement types: Positive reinforcement - something delivered that occurs after the behavior to increase the chance behavior will happen again. Negative reinforcement - something taken away that occurs after the behavior to increase the chance behavior will occur again. Reward - a form of pos. reinforcement.
