Hated the bank of the us because he is a follower of jefferson (he hated it, said it was unconstitutional, said states should create banks) People gave him a mandate to get rid of the bank. Sect of t: william duane: tells duane to do the same thing and he gets fired. 1834: roger taney: brown noser, kiss ass, he wanted to become chief justice of the supreme court and knows john marshall is going to die soon. 1835: he becomes the chief justice: only one who would take the money out for jackson, this is the end of jacksons administration.
