Siling, stripping vegetaion, drying out wetlands (local exincion of wetland plants and animals) Fragmentaion: modiicaion or degradaion (e. g. roads and dams) result in habitat fragmentaion, as fragment size and isolaion increases, biodiversity decreases, edge efects: raio of edge (perimeter) to area changes disproporionately.
