Document Summary
Biologically, creating new neuronal pathways in your brain as you stimulate. Must be able to find or retrieve info in your brain create a filing system (recall) If you can take info and apply to a new situation, that is learning. Put memory in a box in your brain. Pull out the memory, and its exactly the same as when you put it in the box. Each time you retrieve the memory, it is actually re-constructed. So it may change a bit each time. And learning only happens when you can reconstruct the memory. You don"t change the number of neurons that much. But the neurons you have grow and branch differently to connect with other neurons. New synapses are weak and can degenerate , unless they are used repeatedly. Choose and present the content to be learned, in several ways. Emotional involvement: focusing the learning on the most important content to the learner.
