Can be physical (injury) or emotional/mental (anxiety: stress is complex, affects us in many ways. Cognitively- become focused on issue, less creative. Also emotional responses: eustress (good) vs. distress (bad) Ex) good to be stressed before an exam because it motivates you to study and try hard.
