Gaba/5ht system inhibits affective aggression (poss predatory too) Phenytoin (seizure meds) inhibits affective aggression, but not predatory. Often bored/parasitic lifestyle/bad behavioral control/early behavior issues/no long term goals/irresponsible (blames others)/disordered thoughts/impulsive. Ditch last min if goes wrong -> impulsiveness. Lack of empathy and lack of emotional reaction. Disregard for and violation of the rights of others. Dsm v (3 or more of the following) 25-50% of kids with conduct disorder will meet criteria for aspd later. Can"t tell kids they have aspd cuz that will shape them. Supports theory that aspd is very nurture based.
