Because of this erroneous belief, he despised irma for not accepting his suggested treatment. What he gathered from his dream was that, above all things, he did not want to be blamed for irma"s pains: freud continually stresses the fact that dreams fulfill certain wishes and desires. I believe freud"s dream interpretation heavily relied on his personal knowledge of the dreamer. Everyone in the dream was either a close family member, friend, or patient of his. Try to use freud"s psychoanalytic approach to interpret your dream. Describe the manifest and, more importantly, the latent content of your dream. I recently had a dream and this wasn"t the first of its kind that i was a mistress, or kept woman, to my partner. I am currently in a long-distance relationship, and in the dream, my partner"s significant other lived in the same state as he lived in, while i was just someone he would visit from time to time.
