Laws defining crime as the product of social agreement or consensus about what criminal behavior is. A criminal is a person who does something that goes against the values and beliefs of mainstream society. Views the definition of crime as one outcome of a struggle amongst different groups competing for resources in a society. Laws are created by those with influence that control the political. Acts of homicide where the male members of a family or clan perpetrated murder against the female relatives in the name of honor. Happens for many reasons: mostly when a woman goes against her family"s wishes. Justified because the female member of the family has brought shame or dishonor to the culture or traditions of the family.
